| LMV Trout Cronicles Episodes 3 & 4: Timing is Everything
In the last 2 days I have figured out a patter that put me on the fish. Thursday I was able to scratch out a limit in a few hours and got back on it yesterday to a WFO bite from the time I got on the spot to when I left them biting an hour later. It seems the fish are getting active a week and half later. Most of the fish have been a 3-3.5lb average with some under 3 and some over 4. I think fishing pressure will be light with some storms coming and I am going to pass on getting wet. I think after these storms pass the fish are going to really go off.

Not trying to be a smart-butt, but I did not get what the 'pattern' was from reading your thread.

Yes, you are right. Not like last year at all. This years fish from Nebraska have different color, tails aren't as full, and don't fight as good. Maybe these are just a weaker genetic line of fish.

I undrestand we are getting more this week, it might be worth getting wet, the colder temps may have them getting active sooner.
