swim bait rod need help??

im looking to buy a swim bait rod for throwing swim baits ..huddleston deluxe....6 inch..bbz.....i was wondering what do you guys use for throwing the swim baits.. im looking for something on the cheaper side around 140$ or so .. ..any suggestions would be appreciated...thanks

Shimano is good I like the lighter Calstar Graphiters with a nice small shimano calcutta 200 or 300, look on the classifieds i think i saw one on here about a couple days ago for sale and really cheap.

there's a thread over on sdfish right now. sound's like 7'8" Crucial's as far as the Shimmy's go. H and XH. I use an 858 seeker inshore w/ 400te, but only because I can't find a 300te right now! Curado 300's are popular too

look at the okuma swimbait rods. there really nice and have a longer handle than the shimano's

I throw all my heavier swimbaits with an Okuma EH Guide Select. The rating is 2-10 oz. I think I paid $110 for it last year. No problems so far...
