Been fishing in the mornings at the inlet. Chicken livers have been the hot ticket, although we also caught a couple today on plugs. We got on the lake a little later today and fished from 8:30 to 11:30. The bite was very consistent for small fish. 7 -10 inches. Finally took one about maybe 2 lbs.
This is the 3rd try on Skinner and we have caught fish every trip so far. I think that I will start trolling with some bigger plugs and target the larger models. Although my son loves just getting out there and catching them no matter the size.
I will take any helpful tips on fishing this lake.
