Silverwood Stripers

Fishing at Silverwood lake was good and the weather was nice. A friend and I caught 14 stripers to 3lbs and 1 catfish that was 4lbs. All were caught on frozen anchovies in the usual areas near the dam and spillway. Bite was in the morning with fish boiling and it was pretty much over by 10:00. Stripers were stuffed with micro sized minnows. Not much water being added to the lake so the level is several feet lower and greener than normal.
