Hit the big lake ......trout

Got invited to ho out last night on a beautiful tiara 33 fter. Water temps warm in lake Michigan kept the fish deep.Matt really knew his shit!!Marked alot of fish but not biting. Couple other boats pulling salmon. Nothing major. Fished with copper and lead line to get the bait down. caught some decent Lake trout on the copper. Hoping to ho again when the water cools down more. Bloody decks shirt spotted in Holland marina. Cretin out

Actually this was my first time on the big lake fishing like this....its really sad that I salt fish more than ive done this.We actaully were running several different spinners. We had 11 lines in and the copper and lead lines were some type of fly.

Nice report. How did you like the copper line?
I have caught numerous double digit largemouth in Cali using copper line.
Sinks great!
BTW, what exactly does a 'shitologist' do?

First time ever used the line....worked great and brought the flys down to 80 ft+. The lead line ran a little shallower

Shitologist is a very fine art that I cant explain in text!
