lake barrett

how is the fishing at lake barrett i made a reservation for it on july 8th wat kind of lures should i use? is topwater good? wat r some tips for that lake

Use the search feature or look at the fresh water reports there are a few reports in there.

The frog bite should be wide open by then. You should have no problem with topwater fish early and late. Take some blades with you as well. The worm and jig bite should be wide open by then.

if you want numbers fish as everyone else . OR go to large area at east end. not damn . back in e end are three decomposed granite banks .fish parrallel to these about 25 50 yards off facing south . at about 20 30 feetdeep . avouid gimmicks . use a black plastic 4 6 inch 3.0 hook pref mustad with one eigth oz bullet head . use 10 lb line pref ande clear . rod reel of choice fish deep an slow pref tube as you can stand still an lock on yer drag zone boats are ok to get to spots then tube IF YOU DO THIS PLEASE POST PIKA THESE FISH ARE GONNA BE BIGGER THAN NORMAL FOR BARRET TB
