Dont even trip dude... Someone is gonna pop his inflatable.. I have pics of me at Bass Lake when I was about 16 too, c&r all kinds of bass.. We used to have to be real stealth. I grew up in San Marcos and fished pretty much every creek and lake, whether or not I saw signs.

Yo Jesse, just 2 quick things.

1. Getting chased off schools on weekends? Funny how it was so much easier to attend school when you didn't have to be there.

2. 40's and cigs at age sixteen? at least you waited until your lungs were developed a little, saw some kids that couldn't have been older than 12 smoking yesterday. Kinda sucked to see, would have been a lot cooler if they had a skateboard or god forbid a fishing pole in their hands.

Anyways, keep fishing Jake. And remind me again where it said in your post that you jumped a fence or poached on someone's property. I'm seem to keep missing that part.

So off I go for a cigarette, a brewski and some guerilla day-time fishing.

Hope I don't get shot.

zack

Understand the point. The problem is not with a 16 YO fishing. It is with a 16 YO not understanding the law or worse, being egged on to ignore the law by others. I have a 16 YO and a 15 YO of my own. I hope that they understand the difference between public and private spaces. We work hard (my kids included) to have what we have. Just like anybody who owns their piece of paradise. It may be an apartment, a condo, or a large piece of land with a pond. When you have a possesion there is certainly no reason that you can not share it but it should be on your terms. I make the point of somebody just walking in to your yard and setting up on your pool furniture. Not something most people would be happy with. Maybe just grabbing your dog and taking him for a trip around the neighborhood. Whats the problem? I would rather walk a dog than smoke? Even if I brought him back or left when I finished you would still not be happy. Same thing if you just jump my fence and stick my fish. Invited, OK. Not invited, a problem. You older guys should know better.
