I hitup DVL today. Got inline @ 6:30am, let in and on the water @ 7am. Drug a swimbait and needlefish. I did'nt have a downrigger so I tied inline a torpedo sinker 1 oz (not sure if this got it down far enough). Paddled from launch to west of east damn back into a cove. I was deadsticking a worm and started picking up bass. Played with those until I got bored( I wanted some food). Caught some more bass by the marina. Out and home by 11:30am(I wish I could do this everyday @ LJ). Nice out tho, sunny, glassy calm.

Thanks for the post Tim. What kind of sled are you fish from? Kind-a looks like a canoe and if so, what about the no body contact thing?

The trout bite has been off the hook..Fishing from the first point on your right. Then cast back toward the docks..Power worm or Mini jigs..water bobber to get you there and its on..
The swim bait bite will be going pretty soon..They stocked 20,000 baby browns two weeks ago( I mean Bass Bait)

Thanks for trout tip Rob, that's what I was going for.
Jeff, it's a 13'5" Old Town Loon. It's a sit inside kayak. I'm used to the sitontop, but I'm liking this, it does'nt seem any different. You see alot of shit tho when your stealth like this.
