Heading up past Mammoth Saturday

First trip of summer. We spend most of our time up Tioga area. I'll be up there till Wednesday. I might hit Saddlebag and get a boat out. Extremely pretty lake to fish. I didn't catch crap last time but it was a nice day. We'll be fishing Monday and Tuesday for sure. I'll post results when I get back. As soon as I stop crying about missing the WFO Albie bite I'm sure I'll be missing Monday :FU: .

weather is looking fantastic. 30's at night and low 70's during the day.

Just got back. We killed them on Monday. Not that fishing was not our main priority but we did not get to the lake till around 1100. We fished up Tioga Pass. We used rocks to keep track of fish caught and released. We did not count them all since it got a little crazy at times. All three rods would go off at just about the same time. My son's are 7 and still need a little help re-tying. They've got the palomar knot down but the small hooks make it tough to get the double line through. The Trilene knot gives them the curly Q sometimes. I got them their first Swiss Army knife a few weeks back and they are putting them to good use. They are getting it all it's great. We left with "17 rocks on the log." Tuesday we stayed in camp playing Playstation II and watching movies. I know, we could have stayed home and done that. It's cool sitting in the forest with your kids playing games and watching movies. We must have eaten about 15lbs of Sam's Club chicken wings in 4 days. It's going to be a great summer. Glad you had a good time, There's no place like the Eastern Sierras in my opinion. I love it up there, I'm going to try to get away after the 20th.

I can't tell you what my skedully looks like. You'd have to ask my wife. I am either out in the ocean or up in the mountains. I know, boo hoo right? This is my last big summer for a while so I'm living it up. Our 3 week vacation is coming up. The Mammoth area is good. Major comfort zone. Dirtbike riding, fishing and RELAXATION to the max. I also want to hit some of the coast this summer. Let me know if anyone wants to make a trip. My big days are Sunday through Wednesday.
