wfo at the vine

fished couple of hours in the afternoon for a quik 5 fish. trolling the bouy line at the dam very good! got to the bouy line at sierra cove wide open
but we only had 10 min for 2 fish and 3 bites. the rest of the lake pretty slow. perch colored shad rap, thanks curtis! and white mini jig tpped with a small piece of night crawler with a rattle bobber 7 ft leader.it is far from over!

Re: wfo at the vine

Nice. My son and I fished Irvine on Saturday as well. Had 8 fish trolling west shore/dam area but nothing of any real size, mostly 1 to 2 pounders. My son did get a tagged fish, spun the "wheel of furtune" and got a free pass for the lake.

Sierra cove looked like it was happening...but it was a freaking boat show! Just too packed for me...

Thanks for the report Steve.
I thought about running over there later this morning but Wifezilla has other plans for my day.
