Mix Bag at the Vine 11-21

Trolled up a 5 trout limit , 2 bass, 1 slab crappie, and 1 sunfish. Tough fishing today. All of the trout were around 2 pounders with no fins. Bummer. No big ones , no exotics. Hot weather has the trout down. I had to resort to all the tricks in the bag to get them to bite my trolling plugs and spoons. I fooled a few using a new , never tried before, secret technique. The tackle shop said there will be a double stocking tomorrow. Water temp was up to 63.6 at 2pm when we split. The people along the shore looked really slow. The trollers we talked to said 1 or 2 fish for their efforts. We tried to soak a little bait and mini jig a few times on meter marks. But no love. When the water cools and maybe clears a little the Vine will be better. I might call of my plan to fish there saturday and go for a little inshore if the weather is still hot. Tight lines!

Thanks Ken, I'm hitting West Shore tomorrow morning.
Kicking back and soaking some power worms.
