Skinner

Good bite on stripers to 8lbs. The bite was off and on all day. Early bite was good. The rest of the day was off and on. Late afternoon about 5 it picked up again. Caught a couple on jerk baits. Most of the fish came on bait. I released 6. kept enough for some nice fillets. Fly lined chovies and livers. Let it sink with the current at the inlet. Left the fish biting. Cats were active also. Use light line 6 or smaller. I was throwing 4 . Good Luck.
