Before you flame, we were instructed to keep all fish of the striped variety. That was the point. We had a blast on 6lb and at times it was WFO - every cast.
Here's a LargeMouthStriper we released.
Here's me with a Striper.
I'd like to say this is a shot of the carnage but we were not the high boat. Some left with 2 coolers and a livewell full. Even though the point was to remove the Stripers, it's hard to just kill fish and I'm not set up for 100lbs of Striper.

Both you guys...... Nevermind. I like that hat. Took me about 3 years to get/earn it if you know what I mean. Not sure about the taste thing yet. I've had stripper,,, I mean striper before and it was good for a freshwater fish.
Like I said, the point was to kill them. I've got an issue with that, so they'll get eaten. Even if I just feed them to the dogs, they'll get eaten. It was fun as hell, I can tell you that. Ole was kickin my ass on the LargeMouth Stripers.

Sorry, that's the other part. Not supposed to say. I know, it sounds lame but I'd like to get invited again.

Hint. It's in Riverside County and closed to fishing. Dayle and I were invited to kill some stripers and failed to catch 20% of what others caught in a 6 hour period. Basically we got our asses handed to us, but caught some nice largemouth bass in the process.

I've heard stories of this mythical lake in Riverside Co. Hmmmmm...... do you know about the creek that flows out of it to the West? I wonder if someone seceretly stocks that creek during the winter months when the flows are up.... hmmmmmm..... think 5 lb. rainbows.... |
