I decided to give the saltwater scene a break and head up to the reservoir with my nephew Zack, we got up to Thompson's Reservoir, set up the boat and stated fishing, technique of the day was texas rig and the dropshot rig, we fished for about 3 or 4 hours for well over 50 fish, didn't take alot of pics because they weren't very big but here's a double we got and a few other pics
after that we decided to go home but before we got there we thought we would try some topwater frogging from Haypress reservoir.
We pulled over at the reservoir put our topwater frogs on and started to fish the matted weed beds, we got a couple of small fish and then we noticed the big bullfrogs were interested in our baits as well so we threw our frogs at them and immediately they started to chase them it was as funny as hell to watch these huge bullfrogs inhale out baits.
