gunz I had the pleasure of representing Boss Bait and Tackle for press day on Dec. 12th for The Lake Wohlford opening. Man what fun, how many fish did I want? Everything seemed to work and these damn fish had spunk. I don't know what the hell they are feeding them but it is a blast on 2 or 4# line. The usual Rainbow power bait with Berkely's new "ROE" Trout Dip scent was a killer and jiggin' some white crappie jigs and/or Power Bait Worms was a blast. Later on they stocked a hell of a lot of GOLEDEN TROUT! (Looked like freakin' coy when they where dumped) along with gorgeous Browns and Rainbows that looked like submarines aslong with steelhead. It will be a fun year with interesting catch available. Good luck catchin' and make sure you come to "The BOSS' for all your fishin' needs...We have a store in Vista (7606317417) Kearny Mesa (8582777417), Lake Forest (9495887417), and Temecula (9092969999)...Have a good holiday's and go kill fish... |

I needed to get a line in the water today, so I saw this post and went to Wohlford. Might have been the weather, I don't know, but spotty bite, at best. I saw a couple of those California Golden Trout brought in, and a couple of nice sized Rainbows.
I got a nibble.
Oh well, at least the trailer lights work now for next weekend. |

Very good news! I have spent more time on that lake for trout than any other lake. I guess I'll be back up there on Sundays per the halibut aren't biting. You get any of those browns?
As far as the shop info. You are welcome to have it in your signature but please don't spam it in threads all over the boards. (not saying you are just letting ya know) Also be aware that this site tells the truth about tackle, stores, boats, engines, etc. We do this to help each other.

I don't know what the browns wanted, perhaps a fly. Didn't see anyone catch one.

They want 3 size 2 treble hooks with 4oz of lead at the end.
Just kidding, I don't fish SARL. If I saw um I'd bait um with a nightcrawler.
