Palm Springs Fat Bassturd

Ive been in Palm Springs for 2 weeks working in one of the country clubs. There was a pond just outside the back door of the house we were working on. The owner said there were some fish and we could use his poles. I looked at the gear, 4 pound test, and the pond, which was really small. Aww shit what could be in there. I went over to look, there were Bass everywhere. From tiny fry to some close to 7-8 pounds. So everytime we took a break, you know where I was, strokin Bass.... everyday. Im not a freshwater guy, but they sure were fun on 4 pound test and a little trout rod. Not Tuna exciting, but atleast I was fishing. I want my own pond.......... full of Peacock Bass. Frank
