took a trip to

farmingtown missori, you know the part of the country where the trees around town have many more branches than the family tree's. I tell you for a bunch of poor folk, they sure do know how to have a good time, great people who all have a boat of some type, they fish and hunt more than anything else and the camo section at wal mart is the most crowded Isle with five employes in just the fishing and hunting section. fished a small private pond for as many 10 inch bass as you want along with one two pound bass and a five pound bass all on spinner baits. fished catfish because I figured that that is what you shoud do when in the south mid west and caught three channels to eight pounds and a hand full of little bull heads. it was a great trip, the fishing is just getting good down from what I hear, six pound bass are pretty common but one over eight gets lots of attention. when I told any one I was from california they all asked about the "twnety five punder ya all snagged over there, one guy thought they must have been snaggin carp and just got lucky" I dont think they have much water that has more than a foot of visability during the spring so the whole bed fishing game is quite different.
