Corona Lake 1/1/2006

Well we got to lake about 6:30 rented a pontoon and tried a couple of spots with not much luck. Finally about 10:00 I was fed up with that crap and guided us to a spot that started producing some nice trout. Mind you, I am not a trout fisherman by any means, but given the chance to fish or sit at home, I think you can answer that. So, I catch the first fish, and the second. Still nobody else is catching fish, yes so I start talking trash. Then, I catch another fish, and still nobody else has a fish. Finally I figure I had better shut the F**k up before I swim back. Now the last guy Jeremy makes me a bet that if doesn't catch a fish, he will swim naked, realizing there is really no upside to winning this bet, he gets bit, thank God. The trout weighed in at 13lbs 9 oz if I can get the photo in, Jeremy who caught the fish is the dude on the left. Needless to say, he redeemed himself with a toad, and we didn't have to see him naked thank God.

Re: Corona Lake 1/1/2006

Sorry about the late response, just found the thread again. The bite was slow, we managed like 8 fish for five of us. We all had a good time, but with the group of smart asses we had assembled, that's not too hard.
