fished hesperia again with my friends matt and bryan.day started off ok with a couple bait fish for me over by the inlet, with nothing on the jigs. put the bait rods away and started walking around jigging. found a school a little ways down grassy bank that i nailed 2 off of while matt still had the skunk. kept walking and jigging and had a semi consitent bite for the morning. bryan got there around 1230, and after a quick lunch we started walkin and jiggin again. right away bryan nails 2 fish and i nail another. after a while we split up to locate some fish. bryan ended up down by the inlet for an ok bite. i think he managed another 5 or 6, while me and matt got on the fish over by the the drain. the bite went WO for me and matt for about an hour(3 until 4). in the hour i managed to pluck up 12 more and matt got another 10.only managed a few more after that. all fish were cookie cutter 1.5#ers. i used the same colored jig all day which was a mini ripperz in green with a white trailer, while matt did best on banana split. overall fish count was 23 for me, 16 for matt, and 10 or so for bryan.
