Headed up to June Lake early Sunday morning with the wife and three kids (15yr, 8yrs and 2yrs). We left around 430am and arrived in Bishop around 830am. I decided to stop at one of my secret little spots on Lower Rock Creek and show off my fishing skills to the kids right away

This spot never fails me and I have always got fish from this hole........not this time. This would be a trend I would see more and more throughout this trip. Here's me and the kids at the "secret spot".
With no love at the spot, I decided to hit Rock Creek Lake before heading up to June Lake. We set up towards the back of the lake, near the inlet. The fishing was pretty slow and I didn't see anyone catching too many fish. I had a little luck with a Super Duper lure and my 2-yr old was able to bring in his first trout on a Power Worm set up.
Since the fishing was pretty slow, we headed up to June Lake for some late afternoon fishing. I found a nice little spot along the shore to try my luck. Unfortunately, I had no luck. Oh well, it was a nice view though......
The next morning, my son and I rented a boat and headed out on June Lake. I let him skipper the boat and put us on the fish.
Again, the fishing was pretty slow, but we were able to land a few. I was mostly throwing lures for my fish and my son was using worms. Here's me enjoying a "BL" and a little fishing.......
Later in the afternoon, the wife and the rest of the kids came out on the boat. We started trolling Rapalas and were able to land a few. Here's my wife with one that she caught. None of the fish were big on this trip.
Later in the day we took a drive around the loop and saw these deer right next to Silver Lake.
We hit Grant Lake near the end of the day for nada, but it was still great to be there.
Here's the kids at Grant.
The fishing wasn't great, but it's always a great trip up there.
