| Silverwood 4-16
Had a club tournament yesterday (Glendora Rod and Reel) at Silverwood Lake for striper. First time ever targeting stiper there. The drive there was pretty exciting. I had a bigger boat than usual (21' Striper) and with the winding road, I was very suprised at the amount of traffic at 5:30 for a Sat morning. Fishing was slow but steady. Our fearless leader had 7 in the boat in the first hour and a half. We moved closer to his boat! Just as we squeezed into position, the park's boat showed up and repeatedly told us to get of the bouy line or she would ticket us. Getting off the line was tougher then getting on it lol . Finally, the boat behind us moved so we could get out and set the hook. Started fishing some and started getting some better bites.
The weather was awsome. It was sunny, even hot until the winds picked up in the afternoon, awe the lake I remember. Big fish was just under 3#, no monsters this time, but almost everyone got fish.
All in all a nice day in the water.
