Got a few things done today and took the late run up to the lake with my son this afternoon. We fished for a couple of hours and a couple of missed bites but there were probably a dozen stringers with fish that I saw head towards the barn. Mostly bait fish, chartreuse was the color.
Oh, and it was cold. Lots of snow on the ground and it was cold, but a thermos of hot cider staved it off for a while and it was a great afternoon spent with my son .... life is good.
