trolling again

Trolled in my skiff Saturday for a B-day session with my good buddy Jeff. . Totals for the day were limits of trout, released a couple bass, and killed an 18 pack of tecates. We played alot of good music , ate a bunch of killer sandies, and were generally obnoxiuos all day. Yet again, no huge trout. Lame. Yet again, lots of jumping trout. Cool . The hot lure color changed with the weather and was the gold/orange trout cranks. Outfished the shad pattern 4 to 1 yesterday. I am starting to think the shad is good on sunny days and the bright colors on couldy days. But, I will probably be proven wrong next time I go out. Most of the fish caught mid lake. The troll pattern for the day was to avoid all the weekend warriors trying to buzz my transom going full speed in their rental boats. I had to wave off at least 5 boats . Freaking clueless . They were probably heading full speed to the tackle shop to complain they were not catching fish. Tight Lines !

Nice job on Lake Irvine again!
You are fishing too much and I'm jealous has hell.
I spent yesterday doing 3 plumming repairs around the house.
Damn good thing they just opened a Home Depot 2 blocks away!

For those that asked, This was at Irvine Lake sorry I left that out . The diawa shiners and cultiva mira shads were the orange / gold trout cranks we were dragging yesterday.
