Looks like my project is over on the 23rd. Been more busy than 2 cats screwing on a hot tin roof this summer. Hope to see ya all soon on the water. OH yea..........I don't listen to anyone.

Armen- I have used scents on my trolled lures, trout dips, and sprays, but not bait. I am pretty sure the lures would not run right with bait on them. Have you tried that before ? Perhaps a little chunk of powerbait on the rear treble of a trout crankbait. CD5 or Mira Shad or something. HMMMM. Just perhaps.

Tourney this weekend. Get sum !

BTW, I am doing a trolling seminar/discussion up at the lake January 10th . I think it is free with paid admission to the lake. I will post a thread on it prior to the seminar. Maybe some BD members can add to the discussion ?

My 2 cents.......

Clamp on rod holders are a must for a rental boat.
Especially if you have kids.
Here's some pix of Chad's (wheresmypliers) daughter and the Scotty clamp on rod holders on the pontoon boat.

Also some pix with them attached to the fishing boat with FKG.

We can easily pull 4 trollers with different lures at various depths until you find out what's working best, then it's game on!!!

good tip Brandon . Did you buy yourself a rubber net yet? With all the trout you guys are catching on the troll you could have saved hours taking treble hooks out of the net . And your finger . BTW, the drunk dude with a bra is an upgrade from your previous avatar.

Got the new rubber net to replace the one FKG dropped into Sierra Cove.
Got the small sized bolt cutters for imbedded hooks in the fingers.
Got the new fish basket to replace the one I cut the rope with the prop and it sunk out.
I can change my avatar back to large breasted women in 15 days.
I'm a fuck up.

The Rapala ShadRap05 in Firetiger has been very very good to me at the Vine in the past. I won with that one a couple years ago. The ShadRap's swim more erratically because of the large bill. Troll em faster than the CD's.

Hey Birdman, thanks for the heads up. lolololololol

Brandon is right about the rod holders. But I mount mine 2 each on boards that I can mout to just about any boat or pontoon out there. I like to troll 5 lines behind a pontoon. With side planners or Dipsy Divers I know I could drag 7. I am a glutton for punishment when it comes to tangles.

I bet your right, but I am always willing to try almost anything once.

It is fun trying to do the tuna shuffle while trolling 4 or 5 rods from a 'Toon.
