| Utah/ Colorado
My family took a vacation for the past two weeks and i was in absolute agony as i was stuck with them for trout fishing. I had a good time but nothing compared to what i could have had with the offshore fishing picking up. Our first stop was Fish Lake Utah. We rented a pontoon boat most of the days and went out on the lake to catch 8-14" rainbows. I got tired of that fast so i busted out my bow and i walked the shoreline looking for carp. I shot 20 or so with the biggest one going nine pounds. That was a blast! I also tried some deep jigging for Macs (mackinaw, not mackerel). Got slammed once and fought the fish for 10 seconds or so but he unbuttonned.
After that we headed to Gunnison Colorado where my aunt owns a cabin. We fly fished on a private stretch of the Taylor river. We caught same hawgs and i landed a 18" rainbow. The next day we go hiking and my dad and my uncle stumble upon a freshly shot Big horn ram. They call Fish and Game and get permission to cape it out and bring the head to the office. Long story short, we may not get it back for 5 years because if it was paoched, it is a felony :FU: . I hate those fags. Oh well. You never know. one day the poacher might turn himself in and we will get it back.
