"In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person's becoming in every facet an American and nothing but an American...There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag... We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language... and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people."

I look forward to hearing how you do up there. I always spend the month of October up in the Bridgeport area chasing trophy browns. Usually fish Upper Twin and the reservoir.
Hope you have a great trip!!

Went up Sat morning a week ago, Sunday went out and the wind came up, white caps on the lake and swells like in the ocean. we fished for a couple of hours, got 4 rainbows, about 12-13 inches, one Cokenie, (sp)(13"), released all fish just had fun catching them. Were fishing with leaded line, about 6 colors out on the slow troll. Tried to stay in the 60-70 depth range. Caught the first fish on a gold and red hot shot. Fishing slowed down for a while and since it was overcast all day and looked like it was going to rain, we switched to a black Big Jake with red dots and caught the rest of the fish for the day. My buddy also caught 4 rainbows. Also caught one on a black Panter Martin with red dots.
The wind blew all nite about 25-30 mph, looked at the lake the next morning, talked to Steve at Lower Twin, he said there was a front comming through :FU: and it was going to blow for the next two days,
I was going to stay until Tuesday, but I bailed out about noon on Monday and back here in the evning. Made the trip up from San Marcos in 6 hours and 32 minutes. Trip back towing my boat was 8 hours . The reason for going up there was to pick up my boat since I sold it, delivered it to a guy in Orange on Tuesday. He was happy and I was happy.
Sold the boat without anything on it, the guy didn't evan want the fishfinder, if anybody needs a 7.5 hp Mercury or a 6 hp Evenrude, I have one of each for sale.

Right on Brandon, The guy lives on a private lake between Big Bear and Arrowhead. Can't have any engines on the lake, just row boats. He called me yesterday and asked me if I wanted the seats back, he said the seats were so nice, he's afraid some one will steal them, he just wanted a bare ass boat to take his grandkids out on the lake and fool around in, He even took the transducer and fish finder off and sent it back to me.To my surprise, got in in the mail yesterday. He said if his grandkids see fish on the finder, there going to want to know why there not catching any fish, LMAO

I lived in Mammoth Lakes for 6 years, let me know if you need any direction, as far as the water is concerned.
