Rolled solo sunday and made my first cast around 7. There were mostly small males up tight to the shore and the cover. Caught about ten up to 2 1/2, maybe 3 and saw 2 that would have gone over 4 but always had a reaction bait on when they came around. Water has come up a bit and had to work my way through this...

To get to this one on a brass n glass Riverside Air Lizard which I can no longer find anywhere...

Tied on a chartruse chatterbait and did not get any on a normal or erratic retrieve but did discover that they will eat it fished as a jig as I landed 2 this way sight fishing...

Ran across a fat cat carcass that had been ravaged by some critters...

Got another on the lizard...

Tried out the Kevin Vandam suspending wild shiner and as the morning warmed so did the reaction bite...

My last one on the rip bait, hadn't fished in a few weeks and this was much needed break...
