When you take a U-6 or bigger scallop at $14.50 a pound and wrap it with bacon,, its just wrong Period.
Its like going to a resturant and ordering halibut fillet, and its covered in a sauce. Guess what? there is a reason why its covered in sauce?
So why would you wrap a piece of $2.00 apound salted pig fat around a scallop?
I can see why you would do it around that framed raised bullshit shrimp from some far away place. But not a MEXICAN WHITE SHRIMP that is full of flavor and has a snap to it when you bite down.
Nothing wrong with a great BLT. I love bacon, heck what red blooded American dont?
