You didn't mention if you had a microwave or if you were trying to heat 'A La Manifold"
Here is for no heat sources--
There are large thermoses that you can bring hot soup in, or chili. Pack the cooler with lunchmeats, cheeses, lettuce, tomatoes, avacado, mayo, dijon, etc to make sandwiches as you go.
Another one to do is roll up ham slices with a slice of cheese and put a sweet pickle in the middle.
Pick up a roast chicken, great to pull some off, and place in a pita half with some salsa and cheese.
Fruit salad, potato salad, mac salad--all good, place in the small containers for each person.
Pita bread and tuna salad.
Buy individual yogurts, cottage cheese and fruit.
Sweet rolls, put in sandwich baggies.
Peanut butter on celery--put two together (filled sides) so that it doesn't stick to the baggies.
Pimento Cheese spread/dip. Great as a sandwich or dip for veggies or crackers.
Try to package everything so you can just grab a bite when you need to without taking it all apart unless it is sandwich fixings.
If you have a micro--your choices are about endless. You can fix an entire meal, place on the micro dinner trays with lids and you are good to go.

If you consume food in massive quantities like me you need all the calories you can and still be able to carry it onto the boat |
