Fish Taco's anyone??

Well catching the fish is only half the fun, one of the many ways I like to eat fish is fish tacos, these are Baja style (as opposed to what I like to call scampy style cooked with onions, garlic, peppers and butter)

First trim off all dark meat and cut into jumbo fishstick size, I prefer a dry breading to beer batter (less greasy)

Fry the fish

Heat a fresh corn tortilla and add fish

Next some nice shredded cabbage (this is the only way to eat cabbage)

I like to make an avocado sauce. Avocado, diced jalapeno, lime juice, mayo and a bunch of seasonings (cayenne, black and white pepper, seasoned salt, garlic salt and penzys adobo seasoning "cumin, mexican oregano, ect")

Finish with Pico De Gallo and a wedge of lime

Repeat as needed, best with cold beer of your choice.

Re: Fish Taco's anyone??

I wouldnt call it guac, too much lime juice and mayo, a little thin for guac.

P.S. Thanks for the spelling lesson.

Re: Fish Taco's anyone??

You seem a little lite on the amount of fish in that taco. Like the topping combos on that taco....Ill be sure to try it this weekend!
