Another vote for the Weber. It's what a lot of serious smoker contesters use. Throw the instructions away and use the link provided above.

Caulk up another vote for the weber smokey mountian. I bought mine about 5 years ago at BBQ Galore for like $150. It didn't have a thermometer so I bought one at BBQ galore and drilled a hole in the top. I haven't been able cook a good brisket yet, but I am sure it isn't the smokers fault

Thnx for the virtual Weber Bullet link. Haven't seen that yet!

I use an electric smoker and I have no problem Smoking any meat so far. I know some of you Charcole/wood pureists think electric is . But with this electric I can control the heat fairly well it can have its temp set anywhere from 100 to 275. It works pretty darn well. Masterbuilt Turkey Fryer
It is a bit pricey but I did not have to buy it my GF got it for me for my Bday!

Do not get me wrong I do miss the fun of regulating temps like i used to with my old smoker but living arangements have worked in such a way that all this stuff is out on a wood Balcony so keeping wood going on the side is not an option at this time.

I own allot of smokers, you will need two of them one for fish and one for everything else. Fish is real hard to get the smell out any little electric smoker works for fish but for BBQ a big
Gator offset can't be beat

I use my gas smoker for meats and fish, I just change the foil liner in the bottom and do a high temp burn off before smoking... no complaints yet...
