It is like a big steak. I thought he gave me a bunch of little ones. So, it is all cleaned but there is a piece at the bottom where it was connected to the shell. So I eat that too? I'll cut it off and fry it up anyway. |

Name: chuck woyce Vessel: 22ft trophy Location: Monterey, ca Job:general contractor | We do it lots of different ways up here. One of the easiest and tastyest ways is to clean it down to the white meat. Pound the living shit out of the entire hunk of meat, make some slits to shove in some garlic cloves here and there, smother it in olive oil, salt and pepper, wrap in tin foil and barbeque on a webber indirectly for about half an hour. yummy. |

Heres the real secret, First of all your abs most still be alive. Check it out. Get a couple of cinder blocks or 6x6 timbers, lay them parallel to each other, think of the shell as a bridge. place the ab between them so that the meat has no support. Within a couple of minutes the ab will completely relase. Break out your louisville slugger or something similar and with one good whack hit the top of the shell with all you got. The ab will die before it gets a chance to tighten up. All the above recipes are great, you really cannot go wrong.
Cheers |
