| Insane Shrimp Tacos!
Alright. I love good food and and was formerly head chef of a popular Italian restaurant. I have had a ton of great food in my life and so now I seldom find anything new to get excited about....until now.
There is a taco truck located near Olympic and Soto in Los Angeles that is crankin' out - by a 1,000 miles - the best shrimp tacos I have ever tasted. Basically, imagine a Mexican style shrimp cake batter (thick and chunky) scooped into a corn tortilla and then dropped into a fryer. Pull the taco out of the fryer and top with salsa containing bits of fresh shrimp and then butterfly about 1/4 of an avocado and set it on top - all for $1.50!
The truck is called "4 Vientos" and is a few blocks east of Soto on Olympic. Be careful, there are a few trucks in the area but this one is considered the best. Lines are very long but totally worth it...
