Where is it at? I'd be really interested to get back to some freshwater fly fishing. I haven't done any in almost a year since Montana.

Re: Doublehaul in the Fall?

Marcus it is at Crowley Lake up by Mammoth. It is a one day event Saturday, September 23rd. It is catch and release fly fishing/float tube tourny $80. All fish must be 18" or bigger caught on single barbles hooks. They give away tons of prizes and trips, and have a really nice dinner after the tournament in Mammoth. This is the funnest and main thing me and my dad look forward to every year! It is a great family tournament/event with anyone having a chance to win! You dont have to be a great flyfisherman to win, I won the tournament in 1999 and I was 14 and it was my first time fishing the tourny and only my 3rd time flyfishing so ya.... anyone can win!!
