Not my style of tuna tower...

Maybe if you attach it to a flatbed truck in San Felipe
(This is a true story- it happened to my x-sister in law - she rode in it)

FYI if you see white caps coming form the north or east get the hell off that lake.Been there done that and its not good.Shelly also try the area called blockhouse. If in a boat try Hells Kitchen and the pinnicales. Big fish and fish them deep, at least a 100 feet.....Bill

Re: Different lake, same fish

I'll be fishing Walker Lake near Hawthorne NV this weekend. Reports are good for multiple fish days fishing shallow water. Lucky me, I'm on my buddy's boat, a 28' Bayliner with mounting plates and hookups for our electric downriggers. We'll try everything and see how it goes. Our best season was back to back trips in February and March a couple of years ago with a 6 pounder each trip. I got mine fishing on his boat and he got his fishing on my boat. Wish us luck, I'll get back to you. We'll be using Flatfish, Kwikfish, Tor-P-Dos, Rapalas, and probably will try trolling big colorful woolies on the leadcore leaders, too.

Re: Different lake, same fish

Posted my report on Walker Lake over on the Freshwater Reports Board.

http://www.bloodydecks.com/forums/sh...ad.php?t=35637 (Walker Lake NV Cutthroats)

Shelly/Bruce, check with Bob Klug on flyfishing. I think he told me once he fished the cliffs with his float tube. There are some nice beaches all along the west side where you could fish from a ladder.
