But fly fishing is for Homos. gayz:

Just kidding dude. I have been wanting to do some local tuna fishing on the Fly if anyone is ever going to go out and needs a crew but I dont own that type of gear . When those lil Ahis or Albies go richtor that has got to be a hoot. Only caught a few fish on the Fly up in Bridgeport just small Brookies. I actually should be getting in 4 days camping at Upper Twin Lakes at the end of August and will probally do some fly fishing as it has caught my interest lately and my bro has Trout fly gear... :jumpin:

Welcome

Me and lunchbox got some Yellowtail on the fly last year on the kelps and it was awesome!!!! Been doing the fly thing for way too long and the bite up at Cuyamaca the last few weeks has been epic...Hoep you made it up there for that bite...For those that don't know and thinks it is for pussies, think again...You can get makos on the fly, tuna, trout, carp...Doesn't matter they will take it, and the long rod can really put the hurt to them...

Hey Bruce, tell us more about some of the trips on the fly last year or in years past...C'mon man , I know you have to have some good stories!!!

Nice job BD on the fly board...

Let's go ZZZZZZZZZZZZ all I need is the this weather to lay down, I never leave home with out my fly rods(yes Plural) and my home ties! Let the fun begin, last year we got firecracker Yellowtail and rat dodos. Can't wait to put an albie on the boat with a Fly rod. I also want to take a crack at some of those world records. Calico bass records are wide open for the taking, so are bonita, and the WR for Yellowtail on 20# is 22# let's go get them. My bros would have gotten the WSB record if they would have read and understood the rules......at least it tasted great! I am stoked to have a fly fishing forum, thank you!!!!

Yah this is a good new board. I have always thought fly fishing is a art form, some serious skills, and very challenging.

Dude would love to roll out with yah... I have no fly gear though. DODO off something floating sounds sick too. Just let me know.... I would like to get tooled. Last year a few of you were throwing up reports with some nice exotics on the fly.

Teach me to FLY. :jumpin:

Still gay though.

Good memory Bruce! I’d forgotten about the prop taking a dive at Soccoro. With all the cows and fishermen you’ve herded around, that’s good recall.

If any of you derelicts have a chance to fish with Bruce take advantage of it. Good guy and good fisherman/skipper.
