Fly Fishing in Sayulita

Hi,

My husband and I will be in Sayulita this March and we are looking to do some awesome fishing, preferably fly-fishing but we aren't picky.

Anyways, does anyone have any good suggestions of specific area to visit and good guides that do fly-fishing?

Also is there anything in-land or kayak based?

Jennifer,

There are usually some small jacks (toro) working the bait along the beach in the AM. They are usually outside of flycasting range but reachable with a light spinning outfit. They can be a lot of fun as they pull hard for their size and they will eat artificials. If you like to eat fish, go to Tino's in El Anclote which is a little South of Sayulita. Have the Pescado Sarandeado and a cold Corona. I can taste it now. Have fun and good luck.
