I caught that fish last week on some Chunky Cheese Power Bait. It had my treble hook buried way down deep in it's stomach, so I used one of those red hook degorger things to remove it. Hooks aren't cheap ya know? It swam away ok.
I guess it died of old age?
My fish had one spot bigger than all the rest on the left cheek, just like the one in your pics.

That was a beautiful fish, and I hope to CP&R some more browns real soon.
If I am lucky I might even get one that size.
