DFG Hot Creek ElectroShock Survey

This year's DFG Hot Creek Survey went very well. Three sections of river were electroshocked to reveal a healthy population of trout. It looks like the trout population is thriving and the commissions decision to keep HC open to year around fishing has been a success so far.

Good to hear. I'd be interested in observing the process, looks educational.

I believe biggest brown was 6lbs . 24". Lots of fish in the 16-19" range and quite a few small ones too.
