Crowley Lake

Been slow last couple of weeks, but there are still fish to be had in certain areas. Time of day has a lot to do with when they want to bite.

Thanks for the real dope. So many other sites just report great fishing day after day, when we all know that sometimes the darn things just don't bite! No matter how hard you work at it.

Doug err

Got out yesterday for a few hours with Matt from Convict. Trolled both leadcore and straight mono, and got most of the fish on the flatline, dragging a #9 Black and Gold Rapala which seems to be our go to pattern and size for Crowley. Looking forward to more Fall fishing over the next 4-5 weeks. Mostly weekends for me, but I might sneak out an afternoon or two. Man oh man are those fish beautiful!

Let's take your boat. We'll pay for the fuel and the beer! We'll let Matt drive and you and I can fish,
