Whose Fly Fishing over the 4th???????????????

Im departing Wed. night towards Portola CA. That is where my wifes family is from. Sierra Brooks to be exact. Plan on hitting up Mammoth for a day and then some areas up by the inlaws. My goal is to catch a Golden, Rainbow, Brown, and Brookie all in the same weekend, all on my 000 sage txl.

Anybody else have any plans????

I'd like to go fish the East Walker, but it looks like I will hang home and give the calicos and makos a shot on the flygear.

Headed to Bishop, staying near South Lake/ Bishop Creek and hitting as much of the creek as my family and friends allow.
Have fun.

Carp on the Fly! What a battle..... I hooked one the other day and lost him after 15 min, it was on a spinning set up though.

You wouldnt catch me on that Lake at all this weekend. Way to many people! The Lake is going to be a mess! Choppy and dirty. The fish are going to be hiding out! Good Luck......
