My New TOY!

Went down to Riverside Ski and Sport and picked up a new 7' 11" sage.
Its there new bass sieres. I got the smallmouth! Its TIGHT! Sage worked with the owner of R.S.S. Bob in creating the rod. Bob has all the proto types. Man, did he do a great job. I can wing a hugh Popper about 30 feet in one shoot! You can easily cast a fly the length of the fly line. Yesterday was my first day using the rod and it took me a little bit to get used to. But after I got the hang of it, it was game on! I only got 1 last night, but tonight I fished for 45 min and slamed 4. The bass just explode on top for the poppers, it great. Im hooked on this rod right now. Click the image to open in full size.

No giants, but still fun and a good fight on the fly Rod!
If you are into fly fishing for bass, I highly recommend getting this rod.
Bob is known for his skills in fly fishing for bass and he really created a great rod. I cant wait to get down to silverwood and stick a striper!

Im putting my boat in this week,

we can fish the lake, or hit up deep creek or bear creek.
