Hi Henrys Lake Fans!

The ice was at 50% today and now it looks like more than that.

The fish are active. It looks to be a fun opener- In my opinion.
I am actualy able to be fishing and not working for our opener! Way stoked.

The little town of Island Park is filling up with more out of state license plates. This is good because we were worried that people would not make the trip because of gas prices. West Yellowstone is also full of people walking the streets and it looks like we will be off to a good start of a 2008 season for all.

I wish all of Henrys Lake anglers and future Henrys Lake anglers the best in this 2008!

Shelly,

Im serious jealous.

Im going to look for 12-20" rainbows and browns from deep creek and you will be
sticking huge cutts and brookies. Some people get to have all the fun.
I hope you and Bruce stick um and find all the honey holes so when I come up you can point me in the right direction!

Yes I caught some on my old flies that I tied a couple of years ago- Way UGLY Flies, but they worked
Black leech with maroon tail - I think they were my first leech pat's I tied

Bruce did well. He always does.
