DEEP CREEK!

I am headed to deep creek tomorrow.
It is located in the San Bernardino National Forest.

It is about a 15-20 4WD from my house.
I am going with my wife after church. Wish me luck.

The trout are small 8-10", some bigger ones. It will be fun on my 2wt.

Should have a report tomorrow. I will try to take some pics of the beautiful scienery.

FINALLY GOT DOWN THERE ON SUNDAY!!!!
WHAT A BLAST!!!!!
Went down with my buddy (Arrowheadian)
I stuck well over 20 fish all on dry flies!
He stuck about the same on a f4flat fish!

No fish over 10" this time, but its still a blast.

I just ordered a sage 000 txl from riverside ski and sport. It is due in on Friday.
I was supposed to head up north to mammoth, but the wife is sick of driving, so Im staying home. I guess Arrowhead and Deep Creek will just have to do! I plan on putting that 000 to use! Bob from RSS gave me some details on where the big dogs roam down in deep creek, so me and Arrowheadian are romping down there on Saturday. We should have a good report then.
Here are a couple pics from Sunday.

Used to be an excellent OHV area at Deep Creek, not sure anymore. Years ago, Enduro club would have one of our montly events there. Love that place.
