Headed up North Last Week for a couple days of fly fishing.
Fished Pyramid for 1/2 day on Saturday. I caught 16 fish from 7am till 2pm. Most fish were all over 20". I caught 3 that were in the 10lb range. 1 was about 12lbs and over 30". Fish were caught nymphing and striping. I caught all fish on my own tied zebra midge and BFH Beetles

Sunday I went and hit up the little truckee for the first time.
I caught 2 nice rainbows ( Sorry, no pics ) about 20". By the time I figured out where all the big fish were it was time to go.
I will be going back to fish here for sure! What a beautiful River.

Monday I fish HOT CREEK and it was going OFF. I caught over 20 fish in 5 hrs. On Dries and Nymphs. I had a 8lb brown break me off after a 15 min. battle. He put on a show for me. Jumping all over.

What a weekend!

That fish looks bigger than 12 pounds, Where were you fishing at? I leave for Pyramid on Wednesday. The Beetles that Bruce ties have been very hot this year, they are outfishing the Wooly's. I hope I can catch one as big as the one you got!

Nice Job.....Corky

I am new to the board and found it while I was searching for Pyramid reviews. I am heading down there on Saturday night, May 17th, with 9 guys and staying through Tuesday. Is anyone going to be down there during this time? If so, stop by, we are going to be camping at Pelican and having one hell of a good time.
