Michigan Steelhead
I fished the Muskegon River in Michigan today for some nice steelhead. Heavy rain has stained and raised the river, but the fish are still biting. These are from today, and I'll post more tomorrow if all goes well. Tight Lines!

Is that a two hander in the boat with you? What kind?
Scrubs
Bright egg patterns (clown eggs) and that first one ate a Salmon fry imitation. They were all bright chromer hens fresh in the river from Lake Michigan but others hooked into some darker males today also. I'll be hitting it hard tomorrow but it doesn't look like the weather will be cooperating. Oh well, typical steelhead fishing
Sweet fish! Me and my Dad fished the lower platte and the Pentwater this year, I took a pair of skippers the first day but the rest of the time my line kept freezing to my guides.
Keep those reports coming from there..I visit a friend up in Traverse City and get out and fly fish with her all the time and there are some sick rivers up there..The Hex hatch isn;t too far away now is it!!!
