some friends of mine hit up Lake Hodges today and did pretty well on the bass and crappie..The bass were bitting frog patterns and went up to 3 to 4 pounds and the crappie were hitting clousser minnows and these fish are 2-3 pounds (slugs for sure)..So if you get a chance, hit up Hodges cause it is going pretty good for us fly folks..
