From California to Fort Myers. (Goliath Grouper)

Coming from So-Cal to do some fishing next week in Fort Myers. Looking forward to fishing with Capt Ben Chancey and Chew on this crew. A small boat and a short boat ride will be a big change from the So-Cal off shore.

They are Goliath Gouper and no you can't keep them in fact you can't even remove them from the water. These are just the pups, we did not pull up any of the larger 300-600 lbs that are down there.
If you think you know how to pull on fish this can be a very humbling experience. These monstors light up in 20 ft of water your line is all leader 1800 lbs cable right onto the reel, it's against a pissed off fish using no drag.

Capt Ben Chancy is the man!!!! Nothing like it in all the fishing I have ever done.
