That snake gets around, it has been killed in El Paso, North of Amarillo (first time I saw it) and once in Arizonia. Big snake though.

Yeah I love that use a 5-6 foot pole hold it as far away from you as possible ,to make it look big ,why do people do this with Deer and Elk too, I think it`s gay to do that ,just to make it bigger :asha med::ash amed:

Nope, just an urban legend. I'm from Texas and we do have a lot of rattlesnakes though. Anybody going to the Rattlesnake round Up this year in Freer TX?? Really neat, it's like fishing for sleepy mad snakes!
