I dunno guys........for me - old pic or new - 90 lbs or 40. I'd still be holding on to the equipment that caused the death of that snake, just in case.

That snake gets around, it has been killed in El Paso, North of Amarillo (first time I saw it) and once in Arizonia. Big snake though.

Nope, just an urban legend. I'm from Texas and we do have a lot of rattlesnakes though. Anybody going to the Rattlesnake round Up this year in Freer TX?? Really neat, it's like fishing for sleepy mad snakes!
