It's definitely a pomfret, and it's good to eat. Have had some myself and it tasted fine. I've heard it's got a lot of oil in it, like escolar, so you might want to try smaller portions or else risk airbrushing your bathroom brown. I had about a 6 oz. piece and was fine.

It's not a Chupacabra but it definately looks like it saw it. Either that or your the ugliest fisherman he's seen.
